Pininfarina, the renowned Italian design house, has unveiled a revolutionary new caravan, the AI Transformer Home Trailer (AI-THt), that promises a futuristic approach to mobile living. This versatile caravan can be used as a towable trailer, a static home, or a drivable unit, and it comes equipped with self-driving technology.

The AI-THt offers an impressive 400 square feet of living space that expands for different needs, including a convertible cockpit that can serve as an office or additional bedroom. For those interested in outdoor living, a 40 square-foot outdoor patio is available with the static version, all powered by solar panels. With a starting price of $98,000 in the US, this innovative caravan could serve as a holiday home or Airbnb rental, making it an appealing choice for those who value flexibility and eco-friendly living.

On the hardware front, NVIDIA revealed its highly anticipated GeForce RTX 50 series at CES 2025, promising significant advancements in gaming graphics and performance. The new series features enhanced ray tracing capabilities and improved AI-driven features, setting a new standard for gaming visuals and performance.

ASUS also introduced new laptops powered by Intel, AMD, and Snapdragon X Copilot+ processors, highlighting their efforts to integrate AI technology into personal computing. These laptops are designed to offer enhanced performance and intelligent features for a smarter computing experience.

Looking ahead, Samsung is expected to launch its triple-folding phone in the second half of 2025, pushing the boundaries of smartphone design with a larger display in a compact form factor. Meanwhile, Lenovo debuted the SteamOS-powered Legion Go S at CES 2025, providing a portable solution for gamers to access a vast library of PC games, combining the flexibility of handheld gaming with the power of PC gaming. MSI also unveiled new cooling, power, and case solutions for DIY PC builders, catering to the growing community of enthusiasts looking to create high-performance systems.

Lenovo

Lenovo’s innovation didn’t stop there. The company introduced a new ThinkBook Plus featuring a rollable display, a game-changer for users seeking greater flexibility and productivity. Meanwhile, Sony unveiled new show projects at CES 2025, offering fans of PlayStation games new ways to experience their favorite titles through cinematic adaptations. Lastly, Redmagic added a new Lightspeed edition to its Redmagic 10 Pro smartphone lineup, providing enhanced performance and features tailored specifically for gamers seeking a competitive edge.

In another major development, mobile provider O2 announced that it will begin phasing out its 3G network across the UK, with Durham becoming the first area to see the switch-off in April. The phase-out, which is part of an industry-wide transition agreed upon with the government in 2021, is aimed at boosting 4G and 5G services.

Customers who are still using older devices such as the iPhone 4S or Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini will lose data access, though they will still be able to make calls and send texts via the 2G network. O2 is proactively reaching out to affected customers, offering free 4G-ready devices to vulnerable individuals and discounted devices for others. With most users already equipped with 4G or 5G devices, the impact is expected to be minimal.
